A Thrifty Fox is a blog about increasing your income and cutting your expenses – but without making too many sacrifices along the way.
I’m a mama of two boys (Small Human, who’s 2 and Tiny Human, who arrived in July 2017). I work freelance as a digital consultant and content marketeer, work condensed hours in digital marketing for a B2B company and am also in the process of setting up my own small business.
I love cheesecake and coffee. I’m a natural-born-planner and my friends joke I have a spreadsheet for everything. This is, of course, complete and utter truth.
This blog’s focus is financial efficiency. Spending hours trawling websites for free coupons or filling in a survey for 25p just isn’t my style. If you could make more money in the time it takes you to save money, then you probably shouldn’t be doing it.
From September 2017 I also started a year of spending as little as possible – affectionately called #ProjectYOLO – which you can follow here and via Instagram. It’s hard, involves a lot of willpower, but is going okay so far.
